This award winning resort is nestled inside 6,000 acres of spectacular West Virginia park land in one of the highest regions east of the Mississippi (3,200 ft. above see level). Our Nation's 500th wildlife preserve is located minutes from the resort. The resort features a variety of accommodations from hotel rooms to cabin/cottage rentals and campground facilities.
Tubing Park
Slide 600 feet down the mountain using specially designed riding tubes. A handle tow will pull you to the top of the hill -- all the fun without the walking. Fun for the whole family.
Ice Skating
The picturesque outdoor, lighted covered ice skating rink overlooks the valley and Allegheny Mountains. Warm yourself by the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate.
Ski & Play
Our "Canaan Cub Club" camp offers ski instruction for children ages 5 to 8. "The Mountain Adventure" is for new skiers ages 9 through 15. Kidz Korner daycare is available in the Main Lodge for children ages 2-6.
Visitors also can enjoy the XC ski center or snowshoe trails within the park grounds. No trail fee charged. Rentals available. Requires natural snow - trails are ungroomed.
