Hidden Valley Four Seasons Resort
Pennsylvania
Nestled in the mountains of Pennsylvania’s Laurel Highlands region, Hidden Valley Resort is a premier destination for winter sports enthusiasts of all ages. With annual snowfall totaling nearly 200 inches, there’s an abundance of snow -- and fun -- at Hidden Valley.
The resort features two interconnected ski areas -- the North Summit and the Valley Slopes – each with a variety of terrain welcoming skiers and snowboarders of all ability levels. The mountain boasts 30 slopes and trails serviced by five chairlifts (2 quads, 2 triples and 1 double), two surface lifts and two handle tows. In 2008, the resort installed a state-of-the-art snowmaking system and takes great pride in its meticulous slope and trail grooming. Several terrain parks with a variety of features add to the excitement.
Hidden Valley is home to the Outback Snowtubing Park, which features ten chutes serviced by the convenience of a newly installed uphill conveyor.
Hidden Valley’s ski school -- Wintersports U -- is the ideal place to learn to ski or snowboard. You can learn as a first-time skier or boarder or fine tune the skills you already have. The Level One beginners’ area -- new in 2010-11 -- offers first-timers the perfect place to learn the basics from one of Wintersports U’s instructors.
Hidden Valley offers a variety of overnight lodging options in the Four Seasons lodges and on-mountain condos and townhomes. Day and overnight visitors can stay at the resort and dine in one of the resort’s eateries and enjoy shopping in Hidden Valley’s expansive retail ski and snowboard shop.
The resort is bustling with action during the spring, summer and fall as well. Hidden Valley offers golfing, mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, a spa and meeting, conference and wedding facilities. The resort is ideally located in the Laurel Highlands so that visitors can stay at the Hidden Valley and easily access all of the fun and exciting surrounding attractions.
