Holiday Valley Resort is home to great skiing, great times and great friends.

58 slopes spread over 1100 acres on a 750 foot vertical drop give you plenty of variety no matter what kind of skiing or riding you like. 37 slopes are open at for night skiing and riding.

13 lifts carry over 23,850 skiers per hour and 95% snowmaking coverage keeps the slopes white, even when there's no snow in your own back yard.

Snowboarders are welcomed on the entire mountain. There are 5 terrain parks and as long as there's snow, woods skiing/riding is allowed throughout the resort.

Beginners will appreciate the gently pitched terrain of the School Haus and scenic Tannenbaum runs. Morning Star, Sunrise and Cindy's Run areas are an intermediate's paradise.

Advanced skiers gravitate toward the mogul runs and steep pitches of the Chute and Eagle areas, as well as The Wall, the steepest slope in western New York State.

Three base lodges provide all of the comforts and services you'd expect of a first class resort:
- great dining options in our restaurant John Harvard's Brew House, McCarty Cafe coffee shop and 3 cafeterias
- ample room for relaxation in our cozy lounges
- knowledgable experts in our ski & snowboard schools and repair shop
- well-equipped, well-staffed day care
- top of the line equipment and clothing in our ski rental and retail shops

Skiers will find great snow everywhere thanks to Holiday Valley's extensive snowmaking system and state of the art grooming.

There's also the charming village of Ellicottville with unique shopping, fine dining and an endless nightlife to help make you feel you found your ski home.

To get to Holiday Valley Resort from the north and northwest, use the New York State Thruway to Exit 55 and take Route 219 south to Ellicottville. From points west and south, take Routes 242 or 219 off Route 86.
