If you haven't visited Moose Mountain yet, you are in for a treat. With over 1,250 feet of vertical, and terrain that varies from our bunny slope at Moose Meadow to the steep and deep North Slope, we offer runs for all abilities.

And the best part is that, due to our southern exposure, we are shielded from the prevailing Northeasterly winds and get hours of sun each day. With Fairbanks' typical temperature inversion Moose Mountain averages 20 to 30 degrees warmer than in town.

Our lift consists of variable capacity turbo charged terrestrial trams. Busses with ski racks, in other words. It would take a high speed detachable chairlift to move you up the hill faster. The buses are warm and a lot of fun. Just sit down, loosen your boots, and chat with your friends as you stoke up for the next run. When the area gets busy we put more buses in the traffic pattern, so there is rarely a significant wait at the bottom.
